25th February and Mothers Day

Well it has been a while since I wrote anything up and we have been pretty busy.

I spent 10 days in UK at the Farmhouse and Gaynor joined me for 5 days.

This gave us a chance to catch up with family and friends.

The Farm House was lovely with all the birds in the garden ( after Gaynor attracted them with lots of feed) and it was really peaceful now that the staff have moved out.

WE got back last Friday and I immediately got back to trying to improve my golf ( the Holy Grail).

On Sunday it was Mothers Day so went to the beach for lunch at it was about 25 degrees C. It was lovely and Micha came home exhausted after playing with kids on the beach for hours!

St Tropez

A few days ago when we were walking in St Tropez we saw a restaurant with Buddahs etc in the window and decided it was probably a new Indian restaurant. On Saturday night we booked and on arrival realised that this was the back door and the entrance was on the street behind. We went to the front of the Pan Dei and discovered it was actually a hotel!

The hotel is small but with a magnificent centre courtyard with loungers , outside beds ( as per Niki Beach) and was actually a Boutique hotel with 10 rooms.

The food was a mixture of Thai/ Fusion and was really good.

The staff were indeed numerous and the service was excellent. I calculated that with all the rooms full the staff would still outnumber the guests!

I checked the hotel rates and it was about €500 euros a night in high season for a double room.

Would recommend for somebody who wanted to stay in the heart of St Tropez

Golf Day

Today I played as erratically as usual but the sun was shining and Mark was as patient as ever.
